Alongside Long, Ripple CEO Brad Garlinghouse, CTO David Schwartz, and other executives will take the stage to discuss major milestones and future developments. Developers currently building on the XRP Ledger will also get a chance to present promising projects to the community, further showcasing XRP’s expanding ecosystem.
Earlier this year, Long spoke about Ripple’s stablecoin Ripple USD (RLUSD), launched in December 2023. She emphasized the company’s focus on accelerating RLUSD adoption, particularly for on/off ramps, B2B cross-border payments, and seamless access to U.S. dollars.
RLUSD is already listed on major exchanges like Bullish, Bitso, and Moonpay, with expectations that Coinbase, Binance, and others will soon follow. Long remains optimistic about 2024’s growth potential, predicting tremendous expansion in the stablecoin market alongside increasing demand for crypto-based payments.
With Ripple’s payment business doubling last year, Long envisions continued momentum into 2025, with RLUSD playing a pivotal role in the company’s future success.
